The Mexico Real Estate Industry Celebrates Architect Day

October first is Architect day in Mexico.  Throughout many Mexico real estate regions, people stopped on this anual event to respect and celebrate this profession.   Public officials such as Roman Alcocer, mayor of Playa del Carmen,  Alonso Durán Rodríguez, Urban Development director, celebrated this day by attending conferences covering topics regarding urban design, sustainable growth, and the visual impact amongst other topics.  The president of the Association of Professional Architects from Riviera Maya, Ms. Elizabeth Román González, stated that their association chose these topics given the current activities of the municipality of approving a new Playa del Carmen Urban Development Plan.

Top Mexico Real Estate was invited to the conferences which included guest speakers such as Arq. Fabiola Pastor Gomez who specializes in development of Sustainable Public Spaces.  Guest Speaker Arq. Jose Enrique Gonzalez who had a conference on Urban Development and Standardization and Arq. Pedro Pablo Velasco who addressed Exterior Architecture and Landscaping amongst others.  These are all leading minds from various parts of Mexico who came together this week to give these conferences to Playa del Carmen’s city officials, professional engineers, professional realtors, professors and students from the entire region.  The overall message;  We all should participate in the development of our community, the Playa del Carmen land, our public spaces, the visual landscape, and the high respect for the  environment.
