Mexico’s president, Felipe Calderon talks in the interview below about the beautiful Mexico retirement communities and the great retirement option this Country could be for an ever increasing amount of Americans and Canadians.  The Mexican government is preparing for more and more of the 55+ north American population as they begin buying their second homes and as they plan to retire to Mexico. President Calderon also addresses the crime issues which have been on many headlines during the past year.  He states that 2010 actually had over 20 million tourist visitors last year and they expect this to increase in 2011. An interesting point which I will be writing another blog upon, is that quietly, the economy of Mexico has been growing steadily in the past years, creating a very strong base for a continued growth for the next decade.
