The 6^th January is “Dia de los ReyesMagos” (King’s Day), Epiphany Day.  Children love this day as it’s when they receive a present (from the kings as opposed to Santa Claus), have a piñata, eat the sweet bread “Rosca de Reyes” and drink hot chocolate.  A government agency “CROC”, provided all of the above to the children of Mahahual and the part of Mahahual’s “malecon” (promenade) where it was held was crammed with children having fun.
