At Mexico’s annual Tourism Forum, the destinations of Jalisco, including Puerto Vallarta, were showcased with great success. This kind of attention in the tourism market is a positive sign for Puerto Vallarta real estate, which is closely connected to the tourism industry.
Many of the attractive tourism destinations of the state, such as the region a few hours away from Puerto Vallarta known as “Tequila†which is the birthplace of the liquor with the same name. Puerto Vallarta’s beaches and incredible mountain and ocean views remained the state’s key attraction.  Real estate buyers gain from both attractions in Puerto Vallarta itself, and those the inland part of the state.
The hotel business in Puerto Vallarta gained considerable attention as the largest resort community in Jalisco, and one of the largest in Mexico. It was promoted to major tour operators, both domestic and abroad, among which included a large number of Americans, Europeans and Chinese. Increasing this kind of exposure also leads to greater investment in tourism infrastructure, such as theme parks and golf courses, again benefiting residents and real estate buyers.
Just as a growing number of international tourists do every year, residents of Puerto Vallarta can enjoy travels to the classy colonial city of Guadalajara, the quaint lakefront towns of Lake Chapala and the entire area of the state teeming with so much history in between.
