We’ve written about El Cielo Residencial on this blog a number of times before. Basically there are two reasons. One is that there are a number great developments up for sale here these days, like Awa Condos and Hacienda del Rio Residential; the other is that it’s just such a pleasant little community – spacious, green, well laid out, nice homes, lots of nature, wildlife, etc. – a great place just to go for a nice evening walk or a relaxing bike ride down to the beach.
Let me just tell you take you on a bike ride through. To start off, imagine you’re in a beautiful condo complex – nice pool, spacious lounge area, etc. But you’re in the mood for the beach today. So you pack your towel, sunscreen and a couple of nice cold drinks into a bag, and you’re ready to head out.
The bike trail starts right across from your condo. You’re in the mood for going for a little ride, so you decide to take a loop around the other end of El Cielo. Along the way you pass the security booth. The guard knows you and waves out the window. He shouts something as you go by – was that Spanish or English? You’re not sure, but the smile on his face, as always, let’s you know that it was friendly!
As you ride along, you pass the large areas still covered in bush that will a commercial area in the future with some stores and shops. You keep going and pass other green natural areas that will just stay that way; they’re part of the design.
Suddenly – something darts out in front of you -what is it a fox? You stop and try to get out the camera, but you realize you forgot it at home. That’s OK, here, you see wildlife all the time. Just last week you got some nice pictures of monkeys up in the treetops!
Here and there, you see large, beautiful homes and nice condos. More are going up all the time – but that’s fine, since they’re all nice.
Finally, you come to the south gate. You wave to the security guard there as he waves you by with a tip of the hat! They already know you well. The road to the beach is completely undeveloped with bush on both sides. In about 5 minutes you see the bush opening up with the white sand and turquoise water shining through. You lock up your bike, take off your sandals and walk down onto the soft warm sand!
This is the life you’ve always imagined!
