If you’ve been following the last posts on this blog, you know a little bit about Bob and Monique – a couple from Washington D.C. who have chosen Playa del Carmen real estate and the general Riviera Maya area as the market in which they will search for their new home. Why the Riviera Maya? Knowing what we do about Bob and Monique, we can probably make some good guesses …
The Beaches – This is almost too obvious to point out, but also too important not to mention. Soft, white sand, bright, clear turquoise water – if you were going to find your dream home, why wouldn’t you choose the most beautiful beaches in the world?
The Ocean – As we know, Bob loves fishing; there’s something different, something much more inspiring about the deep-sea fishing to be found in Playa del Carmen … and what’s more, you can find a home steps away from the same awe-inspiring sea.
The Nature – Anyone who loves design will love the lush nature and mysterious jungle which defines the area’s landscape, inspiring beauty and harmony in the way in which you choose to set up your home.
Romantic Lifestyle – The Riviera Maya is romantic in several senses of the word. The European atmosphere, the warm, moonlit evenings on the beach, the excellent dining the pure relaxation …
Modern Conveniences – For most people, their dream home includes being close to good stores with international goods, modern technology, good internet service, cable and satellite and good, affordable airport access. Few places that we would consider “Paradise” match this description better than the Riviera Maya.
Now, I’m just guessing about these motivations, based on what I know about Bob and Monique. But I think these are pretty safe guesses. We’ll find out for sure in a few days. Come to think of it, I still haven’t got to the really exciting part, but that will come, very soon …
