We’re always talking about El Cielo Residencial – well, at least I am. I live there – and there are several excellent reasons why I chose it. It’s a beautiful, new, gated community, a bike ride away from the beach in an upscale part of town.
Sounds like it might be pricey, right?
Quite to the contrary, it’s pretty low-priced even for Playa del Carmen. This is part of the reason it’s such a great option.
Now, we’ve talked about the nice, affordable condos and the comfortable lifestyle. But I think it’s been a while since we’ve reminded our readers about the nice, well-priced lots for sale in the same community. Let’s take a look at some pictures to start:

Of course, these lots have all connections, utilities, drainage, high-speed internet, etc.
And the cost of building a home? On average, for a larger, comfortable home with a nice style I usually tell people about $100,000 USD. A small, cozy home ideal for a retired couple who spends most of their day out and about anyway could be guilt for around $50,000 (by professional constructors, of course.) And for those who want to go all out, well the price could go upwards as well.
There are some additional expenses of permits, registration, etc. But in total, you could own the house of your dreams in a nice community near the beach for under $175,000 USD! Now, tell me that’s not amazing!
