When people are searching for that perfect condo for sale in Playa del Carmen, I always give the advice to balance not being too picky with still finding the key points that a most important to you.
One approach that can actually help accomplish this is to remember life’s simple pleasures.
For example, you might enjoy any of the following and find that getting a condo (or a home) that offers you these little pleasures doesn’t cost you any extra, but will only be a matter of choosing the right property:
People watching
Sometimes it’s nice to sit down on the balcony with a coffee and just watch people walk by. Just about any condo downtown will offer this little pleasure as a part of daily life.
Balcony
Balconies and terraces are pretty much a standard item in many condos. They’re perfect for enjoying breakfast, chatting with friends who are visiting or – for the larger rooftop terraces – enjoying a barbeque.
A poolside lounge chairÂ
Many condo complexes have nice common areas with green spaces and pools. Enjoying a good book at the poolside is easy enough.
A place where you can chat with the neighbors
Whether it’s a welcoming common area, the little park across the street, or the cafe on the corner, there are great places in Playa to chat with neighbors. As with most of Mexico, Playa del Carmen is a neighborly community where getting to others is simply taken for granted.
Nature
Do you like to see trees, parks or grassy lawns from your window or balcony? That’s not too much to ask, it probably won’t cost you more to find such a property here.
Stores around the corner
Again, most downtown condos will be around the corner from a convenience store, taco shop and some other stores or services. Gated communities sometimes have a convenience store and a few other items like a pizza shop; choosing a condo close to these is usually possible.
There are many other such items, and, as I said, these are often just simple pleasures, but they can make a difference without pushing you up to the next price bracket or make your real estate search take ages.
