A Party for Your Palate
When it comes to food, you will notice a slight difference than what you might be used to back in Playa del Carmen. Authentic food from Valladolid is prepared differently and you will definitely want to try it. Delight your palate with the original chochinita pibil, salbutes, panuchos, relleno negro, poc chuc, papadzules, and many other delicacies. Wash it all down with a refreshing all-natural water fruit. If you’re feeling adventurous, order a jicama margarita or one of the many exotic cocktails on offer around the town. On your way out, grab some Mexican candies for the bus ride or car drive home. Of course, if you’re feeling healthy, you can buy one-dollar fruit from the many women dressed traditionally on the road side.
