Playa Olas Altas is set between the Cuale River and the fishing pier. It also follows along Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romantica and its famous Malecon. This particular beach does have some decent waves for surfing but don’t count out kayaking, snorkeling, and jet skiing. Playa Olas Altas has high energy and party-going atmosphere, stimulated by numerous trendy restaurants, open-air bars, and social clubs. Playa de Los Muertos
Playa de Los Muertos, surprisingly translated means “Beach of The Dead.†Even though the name seems gothic, it is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular beaches. Playa de Los Muertos is the largest beach in Puerto Vallarta and is just minutes from Playa Olas Altas. Both of these beach paradises share many of the same amenities. Conchas Chinas Beach
Conchas Chinas Beach is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most southern beaches and is in the center of Garza Blanca Preserve. With its pristine views and picturesque landscape, there is no question why it has famous as an ideal location for a wedding. Its unique rock formations create several natural pools to swim in year-round. Playa del Caballo
It is one of several secluded beaches south of Puerto. Playa de Caballo is a perfect choice when staying in town and wanting to get away from all the hustle and bustle. You will need to take a water taxi, but the extra time spent will pay off in so many ways. The first thing you will see is the crystal-clear water, virgin white sand, and the overall beauty. When said that this beach is very secluded, it is true to its meaning. Make sure you bring all the necessities like water, food, lotions, and anything else you will need. The only thing you will not need is peace and quiet.
Punta Mita Beach
Punta Mita Beach is not in Puerto Vallarta, it is approximately ten miles north of Puerto Vallarta. This white sand beach wraps around a 1,500 acre fingertipped peninsula. It is surrounded by many luxury homes and villas with fantastic views of the deep blue Pacific water. You can spend your days relaxing, paddle boarding, or doing whatever comes to mind. The town of Punta Mita has two Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses, plenty of tennis courts, and a variety of restaurants. Punta Mita’s weather is ideal year-round with its ocean breezes and tropical climate.
