Puerto Vallarta Real Estate an Excellent Option for American Retirees
Let me mention some of the reasons why Puerto Vallarta Real Estate is a great option for American retirees. One of the first reasons why I relocated was for the fabulous weather. I was very tired of Seattle’s wet and gloomy winters. The rain and wintery temperatures put limits on my outdoor activities. Puerto Vallarta is famous for its perfect year-round climate. I now enjoy spending time outdoors.Â
Another important reason was that I needed a place to call home. I wanted to feel part of a community. When I arrived in Puerto Vallarta, the Mexican people were so warm and welcoming. They invited me into their community and everything it has to offer. I was surprised how convenient Puerto Vallarta’s International Airport really is. The flight time to Puerto Vallarta from many US and Canada cities is no more than a 3 to 4 hours flight.
Vacation Rentals progress during and after the pandemic
Even though the Coronavirus put a damper on people booking their vacation abroad, I still have many investors purchasing investment properties. Several of my clients keep buying multiple condos because their places are always busy when they come to town, which leaves them nowhere to stay. The pandemic has slowed rental reservations quite a bit, but in turn, it has also helped stop the spread of the disease.Â
With people having to put their 2020 vacation plans on hold, my clients predict that 2021 and the following seasons will see more year-round travelers. These sun-seeking and fun-loving vacationers will need places to stay. The difference between the high and low seasons’ occupancy percentages from previous years won’t be as extreme as in the past.
Investing in Puerto Vallarta
You must be wondering why I should invest in Puerto Vallarta real estate and not somewhere else? Well, my business uses the slogan, “Buy a condo and get a lifestyle!â€. In my opinion, there is nothing truer than these words. Not only do we have such beautiful soft sand beaches that shore up to the deep blue Pacific Ocean, but the city of Puerto Vallarta sits at the base of the magnificent Sierra Madre Mountains. We have the best of both worlds!Â
There is no lack of eateries that offer a variety of atmospheres, sceneries, and cuisines. I had a client bragging to me about a restaurant that I have never been to before. There is plenty of entertainment morning, noon, and night. I haven’t begun to mention the exceptional shopping opportunities offered in and around town. There is always something to do and see!
Puerto Vallarta’s Growth and Investment Expectations
I see Puerto Vallarta real estate growth in the next ten to fifteen years as being a steady trend. City officials have done a great job keeping growth under control and well planned. Instead of having sprawling and unsightly communities, the city is focusing on creating more organic neighborhoods. Puerto Vallarta also wants to have a reliable infrastructure in place which will support its continued growth.Â
The city’s expanding borders will be moving more towards the southside or what is also known as the Romantic Zone. The Versailles neighborhood is where a lot of Puerto Vallarta’s expansion will take place. It has many great places like various restaurants, open-air bars, plenty of shopping opportunities, and various art galleries, to mention only a few amenities. All this and being just minutes away from the beaches! Â
