New Mega Mall and Amusement Park in the Mexican Caribbean

New Mall and Amusement Park

In these times of uncertainty, we have to see where we could find a hedge to face inflation. Gas prices are increasing, and we cannot see the end of it in the near future. We have to prepare an alternative.

Not only are gas prices going up, but also is the price of everything else. We see our bank accounts decreasing. Moreover, that time of the year in which we spend even more is still ahead of us.

We have talked about how life in Mexico is much cheaper in comparison to any city in the US. And how you can spend in the Riviera Maya less than half of what you do at home.

New Mall and Amusement Park

Some Americans and Canadians are even thinking of spending the expensive months down in Mexico to save even more. And then go back home in the spring. And the most intelligent are thinking of renting it out as a vacation rental for the rest o the year.

We also have mentioned the multiple alluring features of the Mexican Caribbean. And how those features are excellent for your Cancun real estate investment.  Or if you are thinking about retiring in Tulum or buying a second home in Playa del Carmen.

New Amusement Park Coming Soon to the Mexican Caribbean

Great news, one more attraction is coming soon to the Mexican Caribbean. A mega amusement park for the whole family is being built between Cancun and Playa del Carmen.

The company Malltertainment Riviera Maya is building a mega theme park on an area of 250 thousand square meters. It will have a shopping center, amusement park, ice rink, the world’s largest go-kart track, and hot air balloon, among many other attractions.

Gicsa, the promoter company, stopped working due to the pandemic. However, they just resumed the construction of the park that will compete with Xcaret and Nickelodeon Riviera Maya.
Jose Chapur had announced that this park would be in front of the Moon Palace hotel, owned by his family, and would have an investment of more than 100 million pesos; however, due to this global health crisis, he had to stop the work for two years.

He commented that the Chapur group requested a loan with Bancomext to restart the building work and be able to complete this ambitious project.

What will you find there?

Malltertainment Riviera Maya aims to be a tourist and social attraction where visitors and their families can gather to enjoy gastronomy, music, fashion, local traditions, and entertainment; In a place where technology, innovation, and water will be the main elements.
As part of these attractions, it will have an auditorium for 7,500 people and bodies of water of more than 80,000 square meters.
The project contemplates generating 5,000 sources of employment once it starts operating and becomes an attraction of the multi-destination Mexican Caribbean, which has developed great global air connectivity and millions of people visit it all year.
