Mexico is a favorite destination for recreational boaters from the US and Canada who crave warm waters, crystal blue seas, gorgeous marinas and spectacular coastlines. Many have even decided to own a luxury house in Mexico to enjoy them. And have it as a port of departure to visit and explore the entire eastern coastline of Mexico.
Although Mexico’s Pacific Coast is the most famous for its full-service gorgeous marinas, boaters on the Gulf Coast and Riviera Maya also have many gorgeous marinas. Evidently, unique and pleasant destinations to choose from with their needed services.
On one hand, from October through May, the weather on the Mexico’s eastern coastline provides a welcome respite from the cold winters further north. On the other hand, there is also plenty of luxurious boating weather from June through November, provided sailors keep a watchful eye for storms if they venture away from protected ports during hurricane season.
Campeche
Boaters traveling to Campeche will treasure a splurge at Marina Campeche Country Club. The Club provides 90 slips for boats ranging from 24’ to 60’ and platforms for up to 60 jet skis. Here vacationers can access a world-class golf course, two pools, a ballroom, a conference center, and a gym. Also,two restaurants and a bar provide highly-rated dining options. Guests can purchase a day pass for the beach club. Golfers will delight in the challenging course over varied terrain with stunning views.
Isla Mujeres
For the most outstanding access to coral reefs, sail to Isla Mujeres. This island is only 8 miles northeast of Cancun but a world away with its small, quiet village vibe. From there, you can visit the Cancun underwater museum, created by English sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor.

El Milagro Marina is a family-friendly marina with full amenities, plus a barbeque, mini-market, and bar. Guests may borrow or rent bikes and water toys.
Marina Paraiso is another favorite for its pool, bar, and restaurant. It has 37 moorings available and 24-hour security. Those at anchor near Marina Paraiso can buy a marina day pass for 50 pesos. This allows guests to use the freshwater pool, showers, WiFi, and dock water.
Marina Puerto has a protected harbor and dockage for larger ships. Some of its 64 slips fit mega yachts up to 175 feet with a 10-foot draft.
Cancun
