At Top Mexico Real Estate we pride ourselves on continually educating our clients about Mexico real estate. That is why we started the Mexico real estate educational seminar series… bringing the information to your home town.  On Friday we were in Stamford, Connecticut holding the second seminar in the USA series tour.
Fortunately for us we had just missed the super cold snow storm that came through.  Now don’t get me wrong it was still cold for all of us guest speakers who traveled from the Mexican Caribbean to give a presentation.  It’s worth mentioning that the low cost of living and great weather are among the top reasons why people from the United States consider buying a vacation, investment or retirement home in Mexico.
This educational seminar included three expert guest speakers who traveled from Mexico to give an in-depth presentation about the Mexico real estate market and answer questions from the attendees.  The guest speakers included Ivan Castillo the Regional Manager of Stewart Title Latin America.  Ivan presented the Mexico purchasing process and discussed how a foreigner can own real estate in Mexico. Jennifer Campbell is the Executive Vice President of International Lending at LAG Mortgages which recently opened up Lending/Finance office in Tulum, Mexico. Jennifer discussed financing options available to foreigners through LAG Mortgages. And myself, Thomas Lloyd the Founder & CEO of Top Mexico Real Estate. I talked about the 7 steps for a first time buyer in Mexico and how to evaluate and manage the risks of buying a pre-construction property in Mexico.
I also spoke on the unique and land breaking program the Live It, Compare It & Buy It Tour… the ultimate real estate vacation. The Live It Tour is an all-inclusive real estate vacation for two, including an online educational package about Mexico real estate before you arrive and concludes in Mexico with a Mexico living experience and tours of Riviera Maya real estate.
