Playa del Carmen Real Estate – Residents to Enjoy Photo Exposition of Sacred Mayan Canoe Journey

Attention Playa del Carmen real estate and Cozumel real estate owners:

Back in May, I wrote about the Sacred Mayan Journey across the strait between Playa del Carmen and Cozumel.  Some new and exciting news, closely related; during end of August and early September, there will be a photography exposition in Playa del Carmen called “The Sacred Mayan Crossing from Within.”  The exposition will share excellent, more close-up photos of the annual re-enactment of the ancient tradition, which includes a canoe crossing of the strait and several religious rituals and blessings.

The event already started on Thursday, and the following are some of the details:

• Dates: August 23 – September 7, 2012
• Location: Playa del Carmen’s “Centro Cultural” near the mall, Plaza las Americas.
• Admission: Free

The photography should be beautiful, and I’m looking forward to going to check it out!
