Today we are talking about how to find a good real estate agent in Mexico.
 5 Basic Things You Should Look For in a Real Estate Agent:
- Credentials: Remember that down here in Mexico not all states require real estate agents to have a real estate license. You want to look for credentials; find an agent who is licensed and has continued education in the real estate market. When you find a real estate agent that has a license it’s a good sign.
- Knowledge: In a Mexico real estate transaction there are a lot of steps that need to be completed. You want someone who has done this many times before and is knowledgeable about the process.
- Experience: Remember that a real estate transaction in Mexico is completely different than what you are used to back home; so you want someone who has the experience to guide you through the process.
- Team Work: Again, there are a lot of steps in the real estate process so you want to make sure that it is not just one solo person but that there is a good real estate team working behind your agent, assisting in the buying process.
- Testimonials: Don’t be afraid to ask your real estate agent for testimonials from past clients.
Those are the five basic things you should look for in a real estate agent here in Mexico.
