Rick and Lynda decided to leave the cold Canadian winter of Calgary behind. Having visited Mexico several times before they chose the beautiful sunny Riviera Maya to retire to. They purchased a beautiful Mexico real estate condo in the eco-chic town of Tulum, where they would be close to the pristine beaches and ancient Mayan ruins Tulum is so famous for. This is what Rick and Lynda had to say about why they choose Mexico to retire to.
“The Riviera Maya was our choice because it is fantastic. The weather is always great, the ocean is beautiful. Who would not want to live by the Caribbean Sea? You’ve got to be crazy if you didn’t want to live there.
The people are very friendly, it’s clean and we have never had an issue in the years that we have come here. Any issue! We have gone out and we look like crazy Canadians because we don’t know what we are doing or where we are. But there has always been somebody that has stopped to help us out. It is just an amazing place. It’s friendly. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else other than here and Canada, that’s it.† Lynda commented about the beautiful environment and the helpful people that they have come across.
“Another one of the reasons that we chose down here was when we were looking at safe areas to be in we found that this is an extremely safe area, the whole Riviera Maya is. We have met tremendous people that have done nothing but help us out. We have made friends with them and they’re going to be lifelong friends. That’s one of the things that anybody could appreciate if you were to come here and visit or want to stay. Whether you buy it for a short period and rent out or you just actually wanna live like us year round because it’s a place that you would really feel comfortable living year round in.†Rick stated about the safeness and friendly people in the Riviera Maya.
When asked about the weather in Calgary Lynda comments, “It is cold! Cold, stormy, windy but we do have Chinooks. If anybody wants to visit Calgary I want them to visit because Canadians are wonderful people. The Rocky Mountains are there so you do get these things called Chinooks. So you can have 30 below but if you get a Chinook coming in you can get to 10 – 12 (degrees). So I can’t say anything bad about it because I love it but it does get cold and that is one of the reasons we have decided to move to Mexico, because we don’t want to deal with cold anymore.â€
“Top Mexico Real Estate, they make it happen!†Proclaimed Rick and Lynda.
