Did you know you can find preconstruction Playa del Carmen condos for prices much lower than you expect, in excellent locations?  Consider the following features that you can have for less than $140,000 USD.

Walk to the beach – While condos right on the beachfront may be slightly beyond the average American budget, beautiful condos just a short walk back (5-10 minutes) can be found for excellent prices, accessible to most buyers.

Small Complex Condos of this sort do not have to be in a huge, faceless complex. They can comfortably small, low-rise and neighborly.

Pool and gym – The same complexes can include amenities such as pools, lounge spaces and exercise areas.  Maintenance fees for these luxuries are also very reasonable and will not bust your budget.

Gated, Upscale Community – Don’t imagine that there’s anything wrong with the location.  Well-priced condos are for sale in nice, gated communities with excellent upscale atmospheres.  Prices are better in many cases when the community is new and still under development.

Spacious, Open-Concept Design – The condos themselves are also very well designed, with the best of modern, open-concept kitchen and living areas with large island bars and modern finishings.  Large balconies, terraces, and even yard areas with personal pools for garden units are available.

So, why the low prices?  Preconstruction discounts are offered by developers in order to get the ball rolling with sales.  Early in the construction process it is more important that they can begin telling future buyers that they’ve already made a certain number of sales than selling for full price; this will be saved for those who buy later when they can see the completed building.  And, of course, it is also very important to note that you’ll have a good deal of more options than those later buyers.

Who would you rather be – one of the early buyers who gets a big discount on your Playa del Carmen condo and the best selection, or a later buyer who pays full price and gets less selection?
