Tulum Real Estate offers the benefit of being a small town on one of Mexico's most beautiful beachfronts, still very relaxed with many opportunities to invest in a condo, or build your dream home. For this reason, Tulum Land for sale has been receiving a growing amount of attention recently, as Americans, Canadians and real estate buyers from other countries have starting realizing the benefits of Tulum's small town atmosphere and the opportunities for growth available here. While Tulum Real Estate is expected grow considerably in the near future, the municipal government is making plans to ensure that the small town atmosphere is developed with this growth, and that the services available also expand to meet needs. One step being taken to address the growth in Tulum real estate is to expand banking services. The municipal Director of Economic Development, Carlos Jasso said that the government is already in communication with banking institutions to discuss opening more banks as well as offering more ATMs from a larger variety of banks. For North Americans who take the step and purchase real estate to become full or part time residents of Tulum, more banks means less waiting time, and it also means more convenience in not having to go out of town to find a specific bank institution. While most residents begin dealing through Mexican banks after they move here, many of the country's institutions are tied to international institutions, offering certain services at lower prices and make transactions with your bank back home smoother, less expensive and easier. Another important factor for a real estate purchase is the security of the area. As mentioned above, Tulum is a small town and offers a high level of safety and peace of mind for non-Mexican residents. However, as the town grows, the municipal government is also taking steps in this area to adapt to needs before hand in order to maintain the current level of safety. The most recent security measure was the implementation of a new branch of the police force, called "policia ejecutiva." The new police will begin taking on formal duties early in January, after a thorough training. These police are also going to receive ongoing training, developing skills and knowledge to especially offer security to non-Mexican tourists and residents in Tulum. As the number of Americans and Canadians buying Tulum land continues to increase, this measure will add the security and comfort of knowing that there is a police presence in Tulum specializing in helping non-Mexicans. Buyers interested in Tulum Real Estate will realize that these two measures are moves towards offering city level services in a small town - a combination ideal for a relaxing beachfront lifestyle. These moves combine with a detailed and organized "urban plan" prepared by the municipal government, and plans for a new international airport only a few kilometers away to promote real estate opportunities in Tulum, while maintaining the laid-back lifestyle, natural atmosphere and other benefits which Tulum currently offers as a small town.
