Awa Condos, Playa del Carmen – Why Buy in This Development?

On a very general level, when you see that something works really well, you’ll consider that for your purchase – especially when the price is the best out there.  While the rule isn’t always possible to apply in real estate, there are some cases where you can see that a development worked very well, and buy in a very similar development in a very similar setting.  This is the case for Awa condos, Playa del Carmen.

To start off, it’s important to see that something very similar has already worked very well.  Near the end of 2010, the same developer started construction and sales on a development called Viliv.  Viliv sold extremely well throughout its first winter season and throughout 2011.  By early 2012, when Awa was released, it was all but sold out.  Happy owners are now very content in enjoying their condos.  Viliv holds the following points in common with Awa:

Location – Viliv is not only in a similar location to Awa, but in fact it is in virtually the exact same location – next door.  Both of these condos share the features like walking distance to the beach, a 10 minute drive to downtown and new shopping malls, and only a 35 minute drive to the Cancun International Airport.  They also share all the advantages of the beautiful gated community in which they are located.

 

Community – El Cielo is a new gated community just 3 miles north of Playa del Carmen.  It has nicely designed roads, many designated green areas and bike trails throughout.  While the community has changed somewhat since construction started for Viliv, it has only taken shape more with more, nice, upscale homes and condos; this factor only adds more value to newer developments like Awa.

 

Design – Awa is not a duplicate of Viliv by any means.  That having been said, Viliv combined units that have open-concept design, spacious units and plenty of natural sunlight (no shared walls) with a complex that has a pool, a lounge and a gym area.  These basics are the same in Awa, all though the particular style of the finishing details have a distinct flavor.

 

Price – Both Viliv and Awa have been the best priced units per square foot to be found in the Playa del Carmen area.

The price combined with the other factors suggest that Awa, like Viliv, is going to be a great success for all those who buy there.  Seeing how well Viliv worked, I can recommend Awa with plenty of confidence.
