On Saturday November 1st, Valle Bambu, the new family friendly neighborhood through an Open House. With the spirt of the holiday in mind, Roberto Rosas the president of Valle Bambu and Thomas Lloyd the director of commercialization decided to through a Catrina Fest themed party. This family friendly event started at 1:00 P.M. and was supposed to end at 5:00 P.M., but keeping with tradition, the festivities went on longer. The event took place at the Valle Bambu Sales Palapa at Arco Vial near Centro Maya in Playa del Carmen. There were many fun activity for the kids to partake in like, trick or treating through a haunted forest, a jumping castle and a jumping castle slide. Families also get their photo taken in a haunted grave yard with several large Catrina's that were at the event. The unique Catrina's were created and designed by Universidad Riviera Maya and the Top Mexico Real Estate Marketing team. There was even a trompo at the event, serving up some tasty al pastor tacos. Another fun event was the Valle Bambu costume contest for children 4-10 years old. With over 15 contestants participating, it was a close contest but in the end Diego Raul Zamudio, a very scary mummy was the winner of the contest. Diego, took home the grand prize, an IPad Mini! There was also a pet costume contest, Laisha a golden retriever and Pop Star won the contest and was awarded a gift certificate to Castillo Canino, were she can spend the day pampering herself. The honored guest judges for the event were Ing. Eduardo Morentín Ocejo Director General of Dirección General de Ordenamiento Ambiental y Desarrollo Urbano, Carla Toledo from Soy Playense, Leonor Rosas and Roberto Rosas the president of Valle Bambu, Thomas Lloyd the director of commercialization and Ana Martinez the community manager for La Gaceta and The Playa Times. Valle Bambu would like to thank all of the honored guest judges for participating in the Catrina Fest Open House and helping to make it a huge success. Family's came out and celebrated Dia de los Muertos with us at the Catrina Fest Open House for Valle Bambu. They also received private tours and information about the new Valle Bambu community, condos, villas, and residential lots that are for sale. It was a great day and fun was had by all.
