Living in Mexico is always full of surprising little contradictions that, more often than not, add to "zip" that drew us to live in Mexico in the first place. Those who have chosen buy Cancun Real Estate as their new home will already know how this works, and those who are thinking about it, will soon be enjoying these little contradictions for themselves.

Here's one recent example: Cancun's new interactive Tequila museum, which presents the history, the production and its importance as one of the world's favorite liquors. Something so serious, about something that makes people the complete opposite ... (the "interactive" part, however, doesn't mean that you try tequila in the museum, unfortunately!) If you love tequila, this will be a great way for you to learn some interesting details about it, if not, it will be nice little bit of information.

While these little contrasts become an almost expected part of day to day life in Mexico, they are also a part of what defines real estate in Cancun; contemporary modern design, juxtaposed with traditional Mexico relaxation and enjoyment of life; highrises with beautiful condos and excellent views of the beach and ocean, contrasted with the nearby jungle and the natural beauty in the eco-parks and cenotes (relaxing pools at the cave entrances to the area's underground river system); fast, convenient and inexpensive transportation to and from home with Cancun's newly expanded international airport, opposed to slow-paced lifestyle, relaxing on one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

In Cancun, lifestyle is likewise defined by these kinds of juxtapositions; the best of modern conveniences, such as large international stores, top-of-the-line health care and excellent roads goes hand in hand with rich Mexican traditions which have been attracted to Cancun from all over the country, including live Mariachi music, the best of Mexican food, and Tequila itself; residents can enjoy activities such as going to clubs and bars for a lively night out, or they can choose to participate in traditional Mayan rituals (carried out authentically by locals who have preserved the tradition from generation to generation.)

These kinds of pleasantly co-existing contrasts in life have made owning a Mexico Condo in Cancun one of the most desired real estate options. As Cancun grows, it will continue to develop an even more complete lifestyle of contrasting, and sometimes contradictory, but happily co-existing, aspects of real estate and life.
