Hello, I am Ryan Gravel, the Buy Bacalar owner, a full-service brokerage and development company. I am originally from a small town in Rhode Island. I received a BA from the University of Central Florida in Sales and Marketing while practicing real estate in Orlando, Florida. After graduating, I searched for the next great real estate market that landed me in the Riviera Maya in 2009. Since then, I have been living full time in Mexico with my wife and newborn daughter.
During my career as a real estate agent, I've written three real estate investment books. One of my major and unique skill sets includes finding great investment opportunities for my clients by identifying new, prolific, and upcoming markets. Some of my career highlights are more than $100 MM USD in real estate transactions, advised for several companies on a range of real estate projects, and developed multi-family condominiums.
When I am not consulting, I am actively involved in my NGO, "Project Ulusaba," which raises money to give back to local conservation efforts, such as animal sanctuaries and wildlife reserves.
