Beaches
in the Riviera Maya

Coco beach is currently the place where Playa del Carmen ends - as far as the main tourism activity goes.  On one hand, Coco beach is next to downtown and tourists arrive to enjoy the beautiful views of boutique hotels and the ferry dock along the beachfront to the south.

 

On the other hand, to the north we see the "local" Playa del Carmen.  Fishing  boats can be seen alongside the tour boats, and locals enjoy their free time on this beautiful beach alongside tourists and expats.
