in the Riviera Maya

The best word to describe Coco Beach and the surrounding neighborhood is "hip."  As you can see in the video, boat owners moor their craft next to the beach, the locals enjoy a walk in sand on the way to work, and tourists enjoy getting their feet wet in the warm water.  Near the beach, there are cafes and the neighborhood is just starting to become popular.

 

Yet the beach is very relaxing as well.  As the video shows, the waves are very calm and quiet, couples enjoy relaxing walks, and there is plenty of space to spread out a sheet and bask in the sun.  The beach is beautiful, relaxing and getting trendy!
