Yucatan condos are available in various regions of the city and the state. Although not a large demand nor supply exists, there are various condos in Progreso, and in Merida. Yucatan has historically been a very affordable state.
There are many small homes and developments designed to allow lower income families an opportunity to afford and live in their own home. Several developers are promising to build condos in Yuctan on golf courses and within gated communities. On the Yucatan Coast, located 22-miles from Merida, several Progreso condos exist on the waterfront. These are popular property options for many foreigners given that the beachfront condos have the wonderful lures of possessing oceanviews and beach side life styles.
