We all dream of finding low-priced real estate that is at the same time very attractive in terms of lifestyle. Finding the low-priced properties isn’t so hard, but identifying that ideal property that combines these two factors is often a bit more of a task! In the case of Playa del Carmen, we’ve gone to work of doing this for you; what we found was Awa Condos. The following are the main attractive features.
Price – Of course in finding low-priced real estate, the first and foremost item we looked for was price. The price in Awa is not only relatively good, comparing very well to other similar developments in the area, but also in the absolute sense, offering nice condos for a price that the average American or Canadian buyer can consider buying comfortably - or even the buyer looking on below-average budget.
Design – The developer of Awa has seen what expat buyers like; just before beginning Awa, they completed a very nice complex named Viliv right next door that was highly successful, selling out in a relatively short period of time. Similar concepts were applied in Awa, such as open-space layouts with features like large kitchen bars, spacious bedrooms, walk-in closets, comfortable balconies, a pool and a nice common area.
Community – Awa is located within a new gated community that has only 2 access points, both protected by gated access, manned 24 hours a day. This makes a very safe region of Mexico even safer, also reducing unnecessary traffic. The community has many large green areas, and it’s common to see wildlife. There are bike trails running throughout, and the roads are safe and ideal for biking or walking.
Beach – The beach is a comfortable bike-ride away, or even a walk for the avid walker (half a mile.) These beaches offer the soft white sand and warm, bright turquoise water for which the area has become famous. The community has plans to construct an upscale beach club with access for all property owners in the community.
Location – Finally, the location is also a plus; the community is located within Playa del Carmen’s exclusive “Diamond Zone” defined by 2 world-class golf courses and several exclusive resorts. Considering the upscale nature of the area and the image, a good, low-priced property is a very exciting find.
