As time goes on and the benefits of NAFTA become more and more clear in Mexico, more locations throughout Mexico are beginning to offer modernized quality of tourism services, providing the same standards of international quality that American and Canadian tourists would expect. The companies are located in the towns of Puerto Escondido, and Huatulco, which are growing as international tourism and real estate favorites, as well as the City of Oaxaca and several other towns throughout the state. The companies to receive the certification include restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, car rentals and others.

For real estate buyers interested in Mexico property on the beachfront, these improvements will lead to further lifestyle improvements in areas such as Puerto Escondido, providing another excellent choice for vacation properties, retirement, or investment through either appreciation or rental income.
