Campeche real estate is currently showing clear signs of future increases in value. While real estate can still be acquired quite cheaply, the tourism industry is already beginning to take off, with large amounts of investment coming from both private and public sources. The area's high potential founded in beautiful nature, wonderful colonial architecture and clean, beautiful beaches has prompted these same developers to build condominium developments, with small units starting around $500,000 U.S.

While these prices are already high, Campeche is still one of the best places to find prime Mexico land at very low prices. One development is offering lots which include 66 ft of beachfront, about 1300 ft of depth, direct access to a beautiful lagoon and the federal highway to the city of Campeche, and connections for water, electricity, phone and internet for only $64,900 U.S. For about $100,000 more, a buyer can have an individually designed home built on one of these lots.

While the total investment here will be under $175,000, homes in similar beachfront areas in more established tourist areas in Mexico are worth over $1 million. In Campeche, with two international airports, and close proximity to Merida and Cancun's airports, it is only a matter of time till the value of beachfront homes jumps.

If you have these funds available, now is the most ideal time to invest in Campeche real estate.
