Compared to other luxury in Tulum beachfront real estate, Casa Ina Tan Kaanab, in the nearby village of Akumal, compares very favorably. The home offers beautiful 180 degreen ocean views, an elegant, modern design, an infinity pool and much more. There is also a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest house on the same property. Similar luxury homes nearby are being listed at over $2 million USD. This home's price has recently been reduced by its current owner, who is very motivated to sell, to $899,000. The home has an excellent rental history, making perfect for investment, vacation, or a combination of the two.
For comparison, here are a few other luxury properties on the Tulum beachfront. One Boutique Hotel, called Casa Corozon, is currently listed at $2.2 million. It is likewise located in Akumal on Soliman Bay, a very private area with a pristine beach. While this property is also a great investment, it also requires more funds on the part of the buyer.
Another oceanfront home, Casa Iguana, located in the same neighborhood as Ina Tan Kaanab, offers lush gardens, a pool, a gazebo overlooking the Caribben, a barbeque and a beautiful yard with gardens. As for condos, and excellent condo development is "Mi Casa del Mar" (which translates to something like "My home on the Sea,") also offers ocean views and a very large beachfront pool, excellent location and potential for rental. At $349,000, it is also a great deal, but is also smaller, with 2 bedrooms, and is a condominium with shared pool and green spaces. Excellent luxury for a mid-range budget!
