While Playa del Carmen condos are well worth the price you pay for them (starting under $100,000 USD and going up over $1 million), and have withstood the recession fairly resiliently, only showing a temporary pause in overall excellent appreciation, a few very motivated developers and sellers have offered super price reductions simply to sell more quickly than usual. The following three price-reduced condos – one low priced, another mid-range, and one high-end – reflect what kind of deals can be found.

was: $1,100,000 USD now: $1,000,000 USD

In the same vicinity as #2 above, this Playa del Carmen luxury condo is an exclusive penthouse offering all the same benefits – right on the beach, a hop-skip and a jump away from Fifth Avenue, plus it over twice the size at 2650 sq. ft., and has a private terrace on the rooftop with incredible views of the ocean and Cozumel in the distance. In side, the master bedroom has a private balcony, there is a complete kitchen (equipped), with granite and marble counters!
