The new playa del carmen overpass

This is exciting news for Playa del Carmen real estate buyers!  The new series of highway bridges over 4 of the city's main intersections is finally complete!  The bridges will allow for very quick passage from the north end of Playa del Carmen to the south, and vice versa.  This means that those who buy real estate in the new gated communities just north of town will have fast, easy access to the shopping at the south end, as well as to downtown.  It also means that traffic will flow more smoothly within the downtown area, since cars will not have to wait for the traffic line-ups at the highway.   As Doug Morgan mentions in the video, it's also important to notice that the bridges will allow passage through town much faster, thus also benefiting the Tulum real estate area; without having to wait at the main intersections in Playa del Carmen, transportation to and from the Cancun International airport will be considerably faster.
