In addition, Granger runs an amazing business in Playa del Carmen: “Don Chendo”. Named after his nickname, this restaurant offers some of the best Chicago-style pizzas in town. Nonetheless, Don Chendo also has delicious pastas, meatballs, shrimps, chicken and fresh salads. Although Russell Granger considers Playa del Carmen as his base, he misses New York City.
